The Fritzbox 4050 is decked out with Wi-Fi 6 and AVM’s state-of-the-art mesh technology, boasting combined speeds of up to 3 Gbit/s. This figure reflects the total data rate achievable across both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, with the 5 GHz band alone capable of 2,400 Mbit/s and the 2.4 GHz band reaching up to 600 Mbit/s. This dual-band capability ensures robust and fast connectivity throughout your home.

Joining the Fritzbox 4-series, the 4050 doesn’t just deliver on speed. It also doubles as a DECT base station for telephony, allowing users to connect analog phones via the Fon connection. The router’s DECT ULE support means it’s compatible with both Fritz Smart Home devices and other smart home products, enhancing its versatility.

But that’s not all—the Fritzbox 4050 also features a USB 2.0 port, a Gigabit WAN port, and three additional Gigabit LAN ports. These ports make it easy to connect storage devices, printers, Smart TVs, and gaming consoles, integrating them smoothly into your network. And, as you’d expect from a Fritzbox, it includes comprehensive parental controls, media servers for multimedia content, Wi-Fi guest access, VPN capabilities with WireGuard, and remote access through MyFritz.

Available now for an MSRP of €139, the Fritzbox 4050 offers a cost-effective option for those seeking high-performance networking with smart home capabilities. It’s a notable addition to AVM’s lineup, bringing advanced features and affordability together in one sleek package.
