Microsoft is set to launch Surface devices powered by Qualcomm’s Arm processors for enterprise customers, marking a significant step toward offering more options for businesses. Starting on September 10, business users can purchase the Surface Pro 11 and Surface Laptop 7, both of which are based on Snapdragon processors. These versions, already available to consumers since June, will now offer business-grade performance and efficiency.
The hardware of these new business-focused Surface models is the same as what regular consumers have access to. The Surface Pro 11 comes in two main configurations: the entry-level version features a 10-core Snapdragon X Plus chip, 16 GB of RAM, up to 512 GB of storage, and a standard LCD display. The higher-end model packs a 12-core Snapdragon X Elite chip, up to 32 GB of RAM, and 1 TB of storage, complemented by a more premium OLED display.
For the Surface Laptop 7, Microsoft offers a 13.8-inch model equipped with Snapdragon X Plus and X Elite processors, and a 15-inch version powered exclusively by the X Elite. Both sizes offer up to 32 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage, making them versatile options for professionals in need of power and portability.
In addition to these launches, Microsoft will introduce 5G versions of the Surface Pro 11 and Surface Pro 10, powered by Intel Core Ultra processors, on September 26. This follows earlier releases of Intel-based Surface Pro 10 and Surface Laptop 6 models, which were tailored for business users. On October 3, Microsoft will also debut a new Surface Keyboard with a dedicated Copilot key, giving users quick access to the company’s AI assistant.
With these expanded offerings, Microsoft is positioning its Surface lineup as a powerful solution for business customers seeking both performance and cutting-edge features, including 5G connectivity and AI integration.
